Job Description
Within the Urban Infrastructure team, as a Project Manager:
Your responsibilities
-
Prepare plans for municipal infrastructure projects;
-
Draft technical specifications and cost estimate schedules;
-
Prepare calculation notes;
-
Participate in the development of project calendars and timelines;
-
Contribute to drainage studies and hydraulic studies;
-
Carry out the design (sizing of sewer and water supply networks, retention structures, grading plans, street profiles and templates…) using AutoCAD Civil 3D, based on preliminary concepts, estimates and calculations;
-
Review drawings and plans to ensure their accuracy and compliance with project requirements;
-
Manage construction projects from the office (contractual clauses, site supervision, payment certificates, change management, approvals, etc.);
-
Participate in the preparation of submissions, service offers and contracts.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or Civil Engineering;
-
Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ) (an asset);
-
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in municipal infrastructure;
-
Experience in design and construction site supervision;
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (an asset);
-
Knowledge of PCSWMM software (an asset);
-
Proficiency in English (French an asset).
