Client: Insurance Firm

Job Title: Insurance Supervision Analyst

Location: Remote Role in Ontario only.

Duration: 18 Months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance)

Pay Rate: ($28-$30) hourly

 

Required Qualifications:

-Active LLQP license.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Life Insurance or Financial Services Compliance.

  • Experience conducting insurance file reviews, policy documentation checks, or supervision activities involving licensed agents.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards within the insurance or financial services industry.

  • Experience identifying compliance risks and escalating issues to internal compliance or management teams.

  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Description:

  • We are seeking an Insurance Supervision Analyst with experience in life insurance or financial services compliance to support supervision and oversight of licensed insurance agents.

  • This role focuses on ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal compliance standards through structured reviews of insurance transactions and agent activities.

  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience conducting insurance policy file reviews, compliance monitoring, and agent supervision within a life insurance or financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-sale and post-sale reviews of life insurance transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform detailed file reviews of agent and client documentation to verify completeness, accuracy, and policy suitability.

  • Monitor activities of licensed insurance agents, including new agents and those under supervision, to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Identify potential compliance issues, documentation discrepancies, and policy risks, escalating findings to management when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare compliance reports identifying trends, statistics, and risk indicators.

  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training guidance to agents regarding compliance standards and documentation requirements.

  • Assist in developing training materials, compliance bulletins, and webinars for field agents.

  • Participate in branch audits and supervision reviews to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

  • Support internal projects aimed at improving compliance workflows, reporting processes, and communication with field teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in insurance compliance monitoring, supervision, or quality assurance.

  • Exposure to agent oversight, policy suitability reviews, or regulatory audit preparation.

  • Experience working with an insurance broker-dealer or a life insurance distribution environment.
