Your Role: Controls & Robotics Engineer

As a Controls & Robotics Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and improving automation and robotic systems. Your work will range from enhancing existing platforms to creating new solutions from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement control systems for robotics and automation solutions Program and integrate robotics systems, including motion control and machine logic Contribute to the development of reusable automation “building blocks” for future projects Evaluate new technologies and recommend system improvements Specify, select, and implement hardware and software tools Support system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and software domains Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and processes Qualifications

Education & Experience Degree or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field Strong foundation in industrial automation and robotics systems Technical Skills Experience designing electrical and control systems Programming proficiency in: Python C++ ROS Qt PLC programming (Ladder Logic) and HMI development Knowledge of: Communication protocols (RS-232, TTL, CAN, Ethernet/IP) Linux environments and computer networking Object-oriented programming and multithreading Experience with: Robotics vision systems, SLAM/LiDAR, and localization Motion systems (servo drives, stepper systems) Data logging and performance analysis (e.g., OEE) AutoCAD or electrical design tools Hands-on troubleshooting and electrical system support Soft Skills Strong problem-solving mindset Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
