About the role
Location: Key Lake
You will be responsible for the day-to-day analysis of laboratory samples by wet chemistry and instrumentation methods.
In this role, you will:
- Participant in quality control activities within the lab operations and assist with corrective and preventative action planning and implementation.
- Perform maintenance of analytical equipment in the lab, mill and mine, and provide coverage to the McArthur River satellite lab as needed.
Required:
- Chemical technology diploma
- Up to three years of relevant work experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Working knowledge of chemical laboratory principles and procedures
- Effective organizational and analytical skills
- Solid team player with a willingness to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude, diligence, and committed to safe work practices
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs
- Willing to work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Experience with an x-ray fluorescent spectrometer
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and SAP
- Working knowledge of LIMS
