Job purpose
The incumbent of this position will participate in the design and rollout of training and skills development programs across the organization. They will be responsible for developing the training calendar for stores, the distribution center, and the head office. They will also be responsible for ensuring alignment between employees’ skills development and the company’s business strategy, and more specifically with the Human Resources strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of the skills development framework and organizational development programs.
- Implement training programs based on identified needs, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
- Analyze training and development needs and provide relevant recommendations.
- Develop and deliver a variety of courses, workshops, and learning modules (both in-person and online), tailored to team needs.
- Build and manage partnerships with external training providers and organizations offering professional or financial support (e.g., grants).
- Collaborate closely with managers to maximize the impact of training and development initiatives.
- Participate in planning and implementing change management initiatives, particularly in technology-related projects in collaboration with the IT team.
- Contribute to training and adoption strategies that support transitions to new tools or processes.
- Coordinate all activities related to training: participant lists, invitations, communications, logistics.
- Produce analyses, reports, and statistics for training programs and follow up with managers as needed.
- Develop and manage the succession program by identifying high potential employees and supporting their growth through tailored development initiatives.
- Design and lead initiatives that promote an inclusive and equitable work environment and monitor related DEI performance indicators.
- Propose innovative ideas for talent and organizational development and stay informed about emerging trends.
- Contribute to special projects led by the Human Resources department.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations;
- 3 to 4 years of experience in skills development or training;
- Experience in change management or participation in projects involving the adoption of new tools or processes
- Knowledge of retail (an asset);
- Familiarity with various training creation and delivery tools (both traditional and modern e-learning approaches)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ease in leading sessions and engaging with diverse audiences, in French and English (the role involves communication with our stores outside of Quebec).
