About The Position

Lawrence Elementary School is seeking a permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) teacher beginning August 26, 2026.

This position is an elementary generalist assignment that provides preparation time coverage across multiple classrooms and grade levels. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach while delivering high-quality instruction in a variety of learning environments. The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students and staff and maintain consistent classroom expectations is essential.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of effective elementary instructional practices, including Structured Literacy and trauma-informed approaches, and will create inclusive, engaging learning experiences that respond to the diverse needs of students.

Education Administration Programs

Living Sky School Division encompasses a wide geographic area including the Battlefords, many communities, villages, First Nation communities, and Hutterite colonies. We are located in the heart of wheat and oil country.

Currently, 28 schools are located in 19 communities. Our schools include PreK-12, elementary, high schools, and alternate schools with a population of approximately 5,300 students. Our diverse student population is reflected in a wide variety of programs that exist throughout the schools to meet the guidelines of the Saskatchewan Core Curriculum and the local needs of the community.

Our intent is always to produce strong citizens through the excellent and relevant educational experience of our students. Our schools prepare students to be capable and open-minded individuals.
