What you will do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, in office project management inclusive of coordination, communication, documentation, invoicing and material procurement for security construction projects:

Operations Support

  • Maintaining projects and contracts via proprietary HTML portal
  • Project management and communication with external customers
  • Identify, quote and process change orders
  • Equipment reconciliation and procurement
  • Project pay applications, calculating retainage, sales tax, modifying schedules of values
  • Create and maintain project files project files in accordance with auditing requirements
  • Coordinate delivery of close-out documents
  • Creation of purchase orders for subcontractors
  • Tracking of project RFI’s, change orders and other pertinent documentation
  • Coordination, communication and follow up with sales team in reference to project status
  • Digital records management and document control
  • Forecasting of monthly revenue and margin associated with responsible project portfolio
  • Assist with accounts receivables for project portfolio
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition
  • Support dispute resolution when requested by the AR collectors or controller
  • Contact customers as necessary on simple invoicing disputes

What we look for

Required:

  • Be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, be a project owner
  • Punctual and organize
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Associates Degree
  • 3 to 5 years related experience in a construction or low voltage industry
  • Ability to read construction drawings and documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of software
  • Knowledge of cost accounting
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $44,000 - $65,000(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
