Based in St-Hubert, Quebec, the Technical Product Analyst - Digital Engine Services, Oil Analysis will report to the Senior Manager. The Digital Engine Services organization is responsible for developing and providing diagnostics and prognostics services to aircraft operators. The Oil Analysis Technology (OilAT) team specializes in solutions for the oil-wetted components of the engine, leveraging analytics and Machine Learning to deliver pro-active maintenance recommendations, to avoid unplanned events and minimize costs.

What You’ll Do:

The Technical Product Analyst - Digital Engine Services, Oil Analysis will be responsible for:

  • Make direct contact with external customers to provide proactive recommendations and/or feed the recommendations to the appropriate internal contact for communication with the customer (ex: Customer Manager)
  • Analyze oil sample data and determine appropriate turbomachine maintenance recommendations
  • Own external customer relationships for different market segments (ex: Turbofan)
  • Provide customer presentations on the benefits of the Oil Analysis Technology
  • Collaborate with different departments (IT, Engineering, aftermarket, the business, etc.) to develop valuable solutions and drive complex projects to completion
  • Log successes generated by the team and quantify the business impact on the P&WC customer service organization

Who You Are:

Requirements:

  • Aerospace experience
  • Understanding of turbomachines
  • Experience in data visualization
  • Customer interface experience and front-line support
  • Fluency in the Python programming language, its data ecosystem and object-oriented programming

The following are considered an asset:

  • Experience in software development process (git/GitHub, unit testing, documentation, etc.)
  • Experience with the Plotly Dash framework
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in cloud-based development (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in one of more of the following fields:
  • Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
  • Operation, maintenance or repair of aircraft engines
  • Experience with ICA documentation, drawings and specification interpretation

What You Should Bring:

The ideal candidate will have a BSc or B.Eng in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (e.g., Business Intelligence) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace or related industry.
