Role: Japanese Financial Analyst (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Payout: Competitive, based on experience
Role Overview: This is a contractual role requiring expertise in Japanese financial documentation to process and validate financial contracts. The work involves ensuring accuracy and compliance in documents related to international financial transactions. This role is critical in maintaining precision in cross-border financial operations, where clarity in language and adherence to regulatory standards directly impact business integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and translate financial contracts, agreements, and reports written in Japanese to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Verify numerical data, payment terms, and legal clauses in documents to mitigate risks associated with misinterpretation or errors.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to resolve discrepancies in financial documentation and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Maintain organized records of all processed documents, ensuring traceability and accessibility for audits or future reference.
- Communicate directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements, confirm details, and facilitate smooth contract execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Native-level fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English, with demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial terminology.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial document processing, contract review, or related roles within finance, legal, or compliance departments.
- Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to identify discrepancies and errors in financial documents.
- Experience working with financial contracts, invoices, or regulatory filings in Japanese and English.
- Familiarity with standard financial software or document management systems for tracking and processing records.
