Primary responsibilities include: assessment, individual program and family support planning and intervention. </div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Knowledge and Skills Required:</strong></div><ul><li>Must be familiar with and provide services in compliance with prescribed agency, ministry and legal standards.</li><li>Excellent documentation skills that meet compliance with prescribed agency, ministry, and legal standards. </li><li>Must have excellent time management skills to meet the demands of a heavy case load and reporting deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.</li><li>Experience and knowledge of assessments of children.</li><li>Able to design, implement and evaluate Family Support Plans.</li><li>Knowledge of child development.</li><li>Skill and ability to engage therapeutically with all clients.</li><li>Must be able to work in a team setting and independently.</li><li>Must have thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, agency policies and procedures.</li></ul><div> </div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>Post-secondary degree in a course of study related to Developmental Services such as Education, Psychology, Social Worker, Occupational/Physiotherapy, or nursing.</li><li>Two to three years experience in working with children with a developmental/intellectual disability.</li><li>Applicants with similar academic qualifications and related experience may be considered.</li></ul><div> </div><div><strong>Required:</strong> </div><ul><li>Must possess a valid Class G Ontario Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle with OPCF6A Insurance endorsement and minimum of $1000 000.00 Liability.</li><li>Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector check, Internal Records Check and Driver?s Abstract. </li></ul><br><br><ul></ul><br><br><b>About Kenora Rainy River Districts Child & Family Services:</b><br><br><p>Kenora-Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services is a non-profit community organization funded by the Government of Ontario, legally mandated to protect children and youth from abuse and neglect through the Child and Family Services Act.</p>
