WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Kellow Recruiting is partnering with a rapidly growing global sports and outdoor products company to recruit two Warehouse Supervisors for its new Belleville distribution centre. This is an opportunity to join a surging business inside a new 200,000+ square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art automation, modern warehouse systems, new equipment and innovative packaging technology.
Continued growth has created the need to add dedicated inbound and outbound leadership to each shift. These are newly created permanent positions, not replacements. The company actively promotes from within. Successful Supervisors can progress into Production Management, Inventory Control and other operational opportunities within Belleville or across a global organization operating in more than 40 countries.
CHOOSE THE SCHEDULE THAT FITS YOUR LIFE
Inbound Day Shift Monday to Friday | 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. | 40 hours per week
Outbound Afternoon Shift
Monday to Thursday | 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. | Four 10-hour shifts | Three days off each week Both positions receive the same salary and bonus opportunity.
THE MANDATE
Each Supervisor will provide visible, hands-on leadership to approximately 25 unionized warehouse employees, with the teams expected to continue growing. You will work alongside another Supervisor, with one leader focused on inbound operations and the other focused on outbound execution. Your role is to create structure, maintain safe and efficient workflow and hold people accountable fairly and consistently. This is an opportunity for a confident warehouse leader who can set clear expectations, earn trust and help a growing workforce adapt to new technology, processes and operational demands.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead, coach and support approximately 25 warehouse employees
- Coordinate labour and workflow across inbound or outbound operations
- Establish clear expectations and maintain fair, consistent accountability
- Promote safe working practices and lead daily health and safety compliance
- Develop manpower schedules based on anticipated workflow
- Train and onboard employees in operational and safety procedures
- Monitor productivity, inventory accuracy and service performance
- Collaborate with other Supervisors, Human Resources and operational leadership
WHAT YOU BRING
- At least five years of warehouse, logistics or distribution experience
- Previous experience leading warehouse or operational employees
- A strong health and safety background
- A firm, fair and collaborative leadership style
- The confidence to address performance issues without micromanaging
- Strong communication, organization and decision-making abilities
- Experience using SAP or another ERP or warehouse management system
- The adaptability to lead within a fast-paced and evolving environment Previous unionized leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory. You must be willing to learn and consistently apply the collective agreement. First Aid, Joint Health and Safety Committee training and other safety credentials are valuable assets.
