We provide exceptional care to seniors. Our staff derive deep satisfaction out of helping others and the bonds that they create with their clients. This is a very different role than most in the home care field. We are looking for caring compassionate individuals who live by our mission and values. All staff must have work ethic excellent communication skills, empathetic caring compassionate and be dedicated to the role.
Staff must be available to work full time, and flexible hours. shifts can be during the day, afternoon or overnight and vary in length. You will be assigned accordingly to meet business needs and your schedule may change from week to week. You must be willing to travel to your assignments within Windsor and Essex County including the following communities: Windsor, Amherstburg, Essex, LaSalle, Tecumseh, Belle River, Lakeshore, Harrow
REQUIREMENTS and EDUCATION
- Must pass a criminal background check Vulnerable Sector
- Satisfactory References
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 & up to date immunizations including MMR, TB, Hep B.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience an asset

Tasks
- Care for pets
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Administer medications
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- Change non-sterile dressings
- Collect specimens
- Demonstrate infant care to new parents
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Mend clothing and linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Plan therapeutic diets and menus
- Provide companionship
- Provide personal care
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Cook
