Job Summary
Accelyst is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Cybersecurity & Network Security to lead large-scale, mission-critical cybersecurity transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership across enterprise security programs involving Zero Trust, Secure Service Edge (SSE), Prisma Access, cloud security, firewall modernization, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and enterprise network security initiatives. This role requires extensive experience managing complex enterprise technology programs, collaborating with executive stakeholders, security architects, engineering teams, operations groups, and external vendors to successfully deliver cybersecurity solutions from project initiation through operational readiness and production support.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
Lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity and network security transformation programs from initiation through implementation and operational transition. Develop comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, issue logs, dependency tracking, and governance documentation.
Drive implementation of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives including
Secure Service Edge (SSE) Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Prisma Access Web Application Firewall (WAF) Next Generation Firewall modernization Cloud Security Integration Network Segmentation Secure Remote Access & VPN Modernization Champion Security-by-Design and Zero Trust principles across enterprise initiatives. Collaborate with enterprise architects, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, cloud engineers, business leaders, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery. Facilitate executive steering committees, governance meetings, stakeholder workshops, and project planning sessions. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, and change management activities. Provide executive-level reporting including project dashboards, financial updates, milestone tracking, and risk assessments. Coordinate business readiness, operational readiness, documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition-to-support activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen security posture, governance maturity, and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, governance frameworks, and organizational project management methodologies. Lead cross-functional teams while fostering collaboration, accountability, and successful project execution.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related discipline. 10+ years of Project or Program Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives. Extensive experience delivering cybersecurity and enterprise network security transformation programs.
Strong understanding of
Cybersecurity Governance Enterprise Security Architecture Risk Management Cloud Security Network Security Security-by-Design Zero Trust Architecture Experience delivering enterprise initiatives using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong knowledge of project governance, PMBOK methodologies, risk management, financial oversight, dependency management, and executive reporting. Proven experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise projects with cross-functional technical teams. Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills. Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party implementation partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large public sector or government technology programs. Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance frameworks. Knowledge of FIPPA, PHIPA, accessibility requirements (AODA), and government security standards. Experience implementing enterprise security governance and operational excellence initiatives. PMP certification or equivalent Project Management certification. Experience working within enterprise infrastructure modernization programs.
