Where You’ll Make a Difference
Depending on your preference, you could be picking up shifts at any of our fantastic French Immersion or dual-track sites:
Forest Grove School (K-Gr 9) - Brand new school in Sherwood Park École Parc Élémentaire (K-Gr 6) - Fort Saskatchewan Heritage Hills School (K-Gr 6) - Sherwood Park Salisbury High School (Gr 10-12) - Sherwood Park Ardrossan Elementary (K-Gr 6) - Ardrossan (10 mins east of Sherwood Park) Ardrossan Junior Senior High (Gr 7-12) - Ardrossan (10 mins east of Sherwood Park) You will also be eligible to substitute in any school across our division!

Test Drive Different Grades: Discover whether you prefer the high-energy fun of early elementary (K–6) or the deep-dive subject matter of junior high and high school. Financial Perks: Newly graduated teachers with student loan debt teaching in eligible rural communities within our division can qualify for the federal Canada Student Loan Forgiveness program. Qualifications
Bachelor of Education A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Effective organization and classroom management skills Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged Excellent verbal and written skills Experience or familiarity analyzing data and using data to inform decision and/or instruction Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
Virtual Interviews (via MS Teams) will be held on July 30th. (Other dates will also be available)
