Where You’ll Make a Difference

Depending on your preference, you could be picking up shifts at any of our fantastic French Immersion or dual-track sites:

Forest Grove School (K-Gr 9) - Brand new school in Sherwood Park École Parc Élémentaire (K-Gr 6) - Fort Saskatchewan Heritage Hills School (K-Gr 6) - Sherwood Park Salisbury High School (Gr 10-12) - Sherwood Park Ardrossan Elementary (K-Gr 6) - Ardrossan (10 mins east of Sherwood Park) Ardrossan Junior Senior High (Gr 7-12) - Ardrossan (10 mins east of Sherwood Park) You will also be eligible to substitute in any school across our division!

Qualifications

Bachelor of Education A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Effective organization and classroom management skills Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged Excellent verbal and written skills Experience or familiarity analyzing data and using data to inform decision and/or instruction Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
