The Role
This role is a key position within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team, acting as the critical link between Commercial and Operations. The S&OP Liaison Manager is responsible for capturing and representing the voice of the customer within Operations, while ensuring that Commercial teams have timely visibility on fulfillment risks and constraints.
This role plays a pivotal part in prioritizing orders and aligning execution with business objectives across North America.
This role includes one direct report and relies on strong cross-functional influence, analytical insight, and communication skills to drive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Commercial and Operations, ensuring customer needs are clearly understood and represented.
- Provide proactive and timely visibility to Commercial teams regarding operational challenges impacting order.
- Act as the gatekeeper for all internal customer requests, ensuring proper evaluation and prioritization before execution.
- Align with Sales and Apply established prioritization guidelines while collaborating closely with Operations.
- Support S&OP processes by aligning demand priorities with operational capabilities.
- Provide get-well dates, track progress, and send updates as the situation evolves.
- Lead and/or contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor fill rates and fines, determine root causes and lead cross-functional efforts to continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards (Excel, Power BI) to support decision-making and performance tracking.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure structured communication and coordination across multiple stakeholders and regions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in customer service, supply chain, or operations environments.
- Proven experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI Dashboard.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (required).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
