Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Lead, the Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation and operation of all information technology infrastructure that supports the operational needs and strategic direction of Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation, in accordance with the Business Plans.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary education in Information Technology or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience in Information Technology and/or Systems Administration supporting IT Service Management in a cloud-based environment.
  • Experience administering enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms such as Exchange Online (hybrid) & Office 365.
  • Experience administering and optimizing application and infrastructure monitoring technologies.
  • Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations of Windows Server 2012 and higher operating systems both on-premise and in Azure.
  • Experience troubleshooting and administering Wi-Fi.
  • Experience with Power Shell scripting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ITIL Foundation Certification, is an asset.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline, is an asset.
  • Experience with Copilot, is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate verbally in both official languages (French and English), is an asset.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

  • Must have the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba as required.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

SALARY: $76,239 to $101,771 per annum
