Key Account Manager (B2B Sales & Supply Chain)

Job Description Location: Downtown Toronto, Ontario
Employment Status: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (5 days in the office)
We are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager to drive growth and strengthen customer partnerships in the steel and supply chain sector. This role combines strategic B2B sales responsibilities with supply chain management duties, ensuring smooth contract execution and long-term client satisfaction. You will serve as a trusted partner to key accounts, overseeing everything from client acquisition to contract fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong relationships with key B2B clients and supply chain partners.
- Conduct regular client meetings, sales calls, and account reviews to ensure growth and retention.
- Manage the full contract cycle: customer inquiries, supplier negotiations, logistics coordination, and execution.
- Collaborate with logistics, inspection, and service providers to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, evaluate opportunities, and recommend strategies to enhance competitiveness.
- Handle claims, complaints, and implement corrective actions to maintain service excellence.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for assigned accounts.
- Support new service launches and enhancements to meet evolving customer needs.
Requirements
- University Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Engineering, or Commerce (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B account management, sales, or supply chain operations.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Compensation
- $70,000 – $80,000 per year + Full Benefits
