Job Description
Browns's Plus Inc is seeking energetic, reliable, and customer-focused
individuals to join our concessions team at the Benson Centre and Civic Complex. As a Concession Stand Worker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, handling transactions, maintaining a clean work environment, and delivering excellent customer service during events and weekend.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve food and beverages (e.g., snacks, soft drinks, hot dogs, popcorn, beer, etc.)
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash/credit card transactions
- Restock items and monitor inventory levels during events
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the stand and equipment
- Follow all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Assist with setup and breakdown of concession stand
- Work cooperatively with other team members and management
- Perform other duties as assigned based on event needs
Qualifications
- Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain one
- Alcohol Serving Certification (e.g., TIPS or equivalent), if applicable
