How will you make an impact in this role?

As Senior Analyst, Cashback & Low Rate Products, you will play a key role on the Cashback & Low Rate Card portfolios through the design and execution of product strategies.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the Cashback & Low Rate Card products, including their associated services, benefits and capabilities. You will refine your analytical skills through compiling monthly performance dashboards, analyzing data and extracting insights to inform product and campaign performance.

Responsibilities include:

Strategy & Analytics

  • Develop regular reports measuring and analyzing the performance of key business metrics, recommend and implement strategic actions and solutions with a focus on profitability.
  • Support the development and execution of portfolio strategy including new products/capabilities and product refresh efforts.
  • Understand customer and competitive trends by carrying out periodic competitive and qualitative assessments and providing commentary on findings.

Project & Relationship Management

  • Take an initiative from conception through implementation and evaluation.
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Create an organized and logical approach to workload.
  • Support additional special projects such as product/platform migrations/decommissions, regulatory initiatives, etc.
  • Manage and lead stakeholders throughout projects.
  • Work effectively across broader Amex teams to deliver enhanced efficiencies, processes, services and Cardmember experiences (Marketing, Servicing, Legal, Compliance, Technologies, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

  • University Degree (preferably Business/Marketing) with minimum 1-2 years of product or management work experience.
  • Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to organize other people and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to select, review and analyze diverse data sets related to business performance (e.g., financial performance, process optimization) and identify actionable insights.
  • Ability to interpret complex data to develop business cases.
  • Strong relationship management, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, notably Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Hiring Range: $68,000 to $102,000 annually + bonus + benefits
