We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Web Developer, Digital Marketing to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
In this role, you won’t just maintain websites; you'll be a key partner in our digital marketing initiatives. We need a technically skilled problem-solver who can take on diverse web-related projects, from managing day-to-day website maintenance to building sophisticated web assets that integrate with our marketing automation and CRM tools.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and be willing to support various web-related tasks. This role involves supporting day-to-day maintenance of the TELUS Health Care Centres website, plus supporting the growth and expansion of web assets as they relate to marketing automation tools and other digital marketing platforms.
What you’ll do
- Help Shape the User Experience: Manage and update our website content to ensure it's accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with our brand
- Build & Innovate: Develop and maintain web applications and features using modern technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js
- Drive Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with our marketing team to build and implement complex functions for digital platforms, including developing processes for lead flows, personalizing content, and creating new campaign pages
- Integrate Technology: Support and maintain our marketing technology infrastructure, including our CMS (Contentful) and automation tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Ensure Quality: Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality and a seamless user experience
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously learn and apply new industry trends and technologies to improve our digital platforms and processes
Qualifications
What you bring
- 2-3 years of experience in web development and website management.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Redux
- Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis
- Experience designing and documenting APIs (Node.js, Express, OpenAPI Spec)
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like Contentful, WordPress, or similar
- Experience with integrating web assets into marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce.com)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and tackle new challenges in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
Great-to-haves
- Familiarity with web accessibility best practices (WCAG 2)
- Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools like Google Analytics or Domo
- Knowledge in SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB) database development
- Proficiency in written and/or spoken French
Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range: $98,000-$148,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15% Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
