Sales Support Manager-BS&S Support Location: Regina, SK
Number of Positions: 1
Salary: $69,263-$92,350(Based on education and experience)
Type of Position: Permanent Full Time

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY Accountable for effectively coordinating, managing and directing clerical administrative support services within Business Sales and Solutions. Accountable for the effective, efficient, and confidential support to ensure an organized operation Accountabilities include managing clerical personnel in both Saskatoon and Regina, reporting and analysis of operational metrics, all aspects of administrative support, customer event planning, sponsorships, team recognition and social events completion of special projects assigned by the Director and overseeing all business sales office moves and changes. Provides support to Business Sales Director team
Specific Accountabilities
- Manage Saskatoon and Regina Business Sales clerical personnel. Provide leadership and motivation through selection, informal / formal training, mutual problem solving, specific goal setting, regular feedback, recognition of desired results and management of the Partnership for Excellence process.
- Work directly and independently with management team to provide administrative support enabling the managers to spend quality time in the field with their staff.
- Manage and oversee Business Sales customer events, includes event planning, invites, scheduling, etc.
- Manage Business Sales and Solutions office moves and renovations. Work with external vendors and internal resources to ensure office moves and renovations are done in a timely, cost effective manner.
- Manage a variety of administrative support functions including:
- Assist the Director with all administrative functions.
- Assist in ensuring the financial success of the department by managing specific elements of the operating budget, as well as implementing cost reduction initiatives and operating efficiencies.
- Participate as an active member of the management team by contributing to the group decision making processes.
- Plan and implement team/social/recognition events. Maintain adequate level of promotional items and handle promotion or sponsorship requests from staff.
- Accountable for completion of special projects assigned by the Director. Enhances business decisions and actions by assisting other team members in special projects through the collection, investigation, and analysis of business information and other assistance, as required.
Qualifications
- Post secondary education in Business/Office Administration with extensive experience in an administrative role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must display broad conceptual skills and the ability to balance numerous activities while working with short deadlines.
- Must demonstrate ability to be a strong team player within the division and with corporate internal and external partners.
- Ability to multi-task combined with knowledge and experience with personal computers.
- A Strong organizational and problem solving skills along with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of SaskTel corporate structure, departmental functionality and corporate policy and procedure.
- Effective Communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Must demonstrate aptitude for the direction, leadership, management and training of staff.
- Must possess an aptitude to operate within the Collective Agreement and to effectively communicate with members and executive of the CEP.
This is an on-site position located at the location(s) above. The successful candidate must be located within the province of Saskatchewan.
