About Whitewater Mountain Resort

51-200

Located just outside Nelson BC, on BC's famous Powder Highway, Whitewater Mountain Resort is renowned for receiving over 12 metres/40 feet of light, dry powder snow every season. The best thing about the big snow fall is you don't have to make room for the big crowds which are common to other BC ski resorts.

With its legendary deep powder and endless terrain, Whitewater Mountain Resort attracts attention from across Canada and around the world. Over 623 metres/2044 feet of steeps, deeps, chutes, bowls, and glades are all there, beneath the ski resort's majestic Ymir Peak.

Aside from the incredible powder, Whitewater Mountain Resort's other hidden gem is the food. With an eclectic menu and fresh housemade ingredients, it's no wonder why Ski Magazine rated us #2 in the "Top 10 Best Ski Resort Cafeterias" for 2011.

Whitewater is all about the feels. The feeling of fresh turns with your neighbours, the feeling of good food after a long day of powder shredding and the feeling of being disconnected to reconnect. Whitewater offers low key vibes of community driven mountain people without the distraction of wifi or cell service. So prepare yourself to unplug, fuel up and enjoy because at Whitewater high fives are free, and encouraged.
