Tolko is currently sourcingProduction Techniciansat our Athabasca OSB Division, located in Slave Lake. Thisstate-of-the-art facilityhas the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range ofinnovative forest productsfor customersaround the world.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
-
Commitment toworking safelycoupled withstrong communication & interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work12 hour shifts, including evenings and weekends, in a physicallydemanding industrial environment.
-
Ability towork independentlywith little supervision.
-
Previousexperience in an OSBmill is an asset.
-
Previous experienceoperating a forklift or loaderis an asset.

In this role you will:
-Work independentlyas part of ahigh-performance teamdedicated to safety and efficiently producing OSB. -Perform a variety of labour dutiestoincrease productivityandreduce safety risks. -Analyze and trouble shootin your area, andcommunicatewith your team lead and maintenance to get thingsback on track.

Work arotating 12-hour shift schedule, which gives you flexibility to spendextra time with your family on days off.

Our Athabasca Division is located two and a half hours northwest of Edmonton, Alberta close to the town of Slave Lake. Slave Lake is home to over 6,000 people. It’s an active community boasting two ball facilities, a multi-recreation centre, aquatic centre, and over 40 acres of parks and open space to explore.
