About the role
In this role, you will:
Inspection and quality control during production
- Conduct inspections and tests related to surface preparation and coating application, in accordance with the inspection and testing plan and work instructions
- Monitor activities (preparation, mixing, application) to ensure compliance with the manufacturer’s requirements and recommendations
- Inspect finished products according to project criteria
Documentation and Follow-Up
- Record inspection activities (thickness, environmental conditions, bond profile, etc.) via the production log
- Complete required reports (daily monitoring, inspection reports)
- Document trailer loading with photographs prior to delivery
Compliance and Non-Conformance Management
- Identify, report, and mark non-conformities
- Complete required reports (correction notes or non-conformity reports) and follow up on corrective actions
- Verify and calibrate inspection instruments
- Interpret standards applicable to projects
- Comply with occupational health and safety regulations
- Perform any other related tasks
Desired qualifications:

1 to 3 years of experience in coating inspection or application

Hold an AMPP CIP certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)

Strong ability to read blueprints and knowledge of SSPC and ASTM standards

NACE CIP Level 1 certification
-
Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written

Proficiency with computer software, particularly Word and Excel
-
Ability to work independently and take initiative
-
Ability to work in a team
