French Content Specialist :
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a French Content Specialist for a 6-month role. This position is a remote position, and candidates can be located anywhere in Canada as long as they can work 9-5 EST.
French Content Specialist - Job Description: The French Content Specialist will be part of a large, high-visibility project starting in February, working alongside an English writer to develop and update internal procedures and offers for front-line employees. The role focuses on ensuring effective communication across different lines of business within the bank.
French Content Specialist - Responsibilities:
- Translate written or spoken materials from English to French and vice versa
- Facilitate effective communication by converting languages
- Relay concepts and ideas between languages
- Edit and proofread text to ensure language accuracy
- Adapt products or services for use in a different language and culture
French Content Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
- 3+ years of translation experience
- Experience with translation memory software
- Bilingual in French/English with expert-level French skills
- GED / High School Diploma required
- BA in Translation required
- Experience working in HTML
French Content Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Technical writing certificate
- Knowledge of JIRA
- Flow Fit knowledge
- MemoQ Software knowledge
French Content Specialist – Assignment Length: This is a 6-month contract position with a high possibility of extension.
French Content Specialist - Start Date: ASAP
French Content Specialist - Assignment Location: Remote position, candidates can be located anywhere in Canada.
