About the role

Job Summary Under the supervision of the Director, Pharmacy Operations, the Manager, Medical Devices & Client Services is responsible for leading the Infusion Pharmacy Intake, Customer Service, Data Entry, and Equipment Administration teams. This leadership role ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery across all client-facing and equipment fulfillment functions.

This position requires strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills with minimal to moderate travel. Regular business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with occasional overtime or extended hours. Demonstrated ability to balance flexible work arrangements with the needs of the business is required, ensuring adequate on-site coverage and leadership presence when required.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Customer Service, Intake, Data Entry, and Equipment Administration teams.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness, staff performance, and cross-functional coordination across equipment logistics and client services.
  • Support the oversight of equipment lifecycle management, including procurement, maintenance, repair, and end-of-life processes for infusion and medical devices.
  • Guide team leads in daily operations, performance monitoring, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure compliance with medical device regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain inventory oversight of equipment assets across all BSRx facilities and subcontractor sites.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to ensure equipment needs are met in a timely, cost-effective manner.
  • Implement and track KPIs across all reporting departments; review staff performance and complete evaluations with team leads.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for departmental staff.
  • Support the development of SOPs and documentation related to intake, customer service, and equipment handling workflows.
  • Promote a culture of quality and compliance, aligned with internal policies and provincial regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient, staff, and corporate information.
  • Ensure compliance with Bayshore Policies, Health and Safety regulations, and corporate procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in health care, medical devices, or client services-related roles.
  • College Diploma required; University Degree preferred.
  • Experience with Ontario Health or other provincial agencies is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of infusion equipment, medical devices, and healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams with a focus on logistics and client support.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to support and motivate diverse teams.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for off-site meetings as required.
