Work Authority is currently looking for a Store Manager at our Winnipeg, MB location.

How you will make a difference

You will provide an exceptional customer experience to all customers by promoting our products and providing fast, friendly and knowledgeable service.

The successful candidate must be flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Assume managerial responsibilities of the Store Manager.

  • Assisting with selling merchandise, operating the cash register, controlling and organizing the fitting room and maintaining a safe and orderly environment in all areas of the store.

  • Ensuring that Corporate visual and housekeeping standards are met; upkeep the store’s visuals and displays with pride.

  • Ensure protection of company assets by adhering to Loss Prevention policies.

  • As part of the store team, maximize store sales by consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Provide outstanding customer service from initial greeting to the final sale.

  • Assess customer needs and provide expert advice about available products.

  • Prioritize sales and customer service ahead of all operational activities.

  • Open availability and flexibility to work evening, weekends, and holidays.

  • Motivate, encourage, coach and challenge staff to achieve high levels of sales and assist management with reviewing employee performance to encourage/maintain optimum performance.

Skills for Success

  • Must have 2+ years retail experience

  • Good decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills; strong sense of customer service

  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and willing to take on new challenges

  • Mature attitude and a strong work ethic are essential

  • Excellent team player and able to work with people on all levels
