About The Client Our client operates Australias largest manganese mining operation on Groote Eylandt and is known for its strong safety culture and large-scale production. Under a long-term arrangement, WorkPac provides Industrial and Professional employees to support productivity and growth across all facets of the operation.
About The Role WorkPac are seeking a motivated and detail-focused HSE Administrator to support reporting, data management, and administration within the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team. This FIFO role from Darwin or Cairns is offered on an 8:6 days roster, providing a consistent schedule and excellent lifestyle balance in a unique island setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and distribute daily and weekly reports on injury/illness, hazards, and actions
- Manage the health recording database and dashboard with site health specialists
- Track and follow up on medicals and health surveillance
- Prepare health and safety meeting agendas and content
- Provide administration support onboarding, purchase orders, meetings, minutes
- Coordinate calibration of health and hygiene equipment
- Enter and manage health/hygiene data using the CORITY database
- Support managers with Health & Safety Performance Metrics
Skills And Experience Required
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm to learn
- Analytical, data-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (required)
- Experience with CORITY, HSE systems, and Power BI (highly valued)
- Understanding of health and/or hygiene data
- Experience in general administration tasks (e.g., onboarding, purchase orders, meetings)
- Must pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
