Are you passionate about developing winning proposals and looking to make a meaningful impact in the mining industry?
Okane has an exciting opportunity for a Proposal Coordinator to join our growing proposals team. From early-stage planning through to relinquishment, we’re helping reshape the future of mining — and we’re looking for people who want to be part of that transformation.

As Proposal Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the development of high-quality proposals and submissions that effectively communicate Okane's expertise and value proposition.

Quality Assurance & Compliance
Complete proposal compliance reviews against client requirements. Edit, format, proofread, and finalize proposal documents. Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and document quality. Manage distribution and submission of proposals through various platforms.
Tender & Vendor Management
Maintain registrations within vendor and tendering systems. Monitor and track new proposal and bid opportunities. Review bid and tender requirements. Complete and coordinate prequalification submissions.
Proposal Resources & Systems
Manage proposal resources including employee CVs, project descriptions, client references, and corporate information. Track proposal progress and reporting using Deltek Vantagepoint. Development and maintenance of a proposal content database. Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes, tools, and efficiencies.
Qualifications & Expectations
Previous experience supporting proposals is an asset. Experience in the mining, engineering, environmental consulting, or construction industries is an asset. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and PDF editing tools, and AI programs. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Alignment with Okane Core Values (Passionate, Smart and Clever, Positive, Thoughtful and Caring, and Humble). If you are a self-starter who enjoys bringing structure and organization to complex projects. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate effectively with technical professionals, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and outcomes, this role is for you!
