We are looking for positive and team-oriented individuals to join our Gananoque manufacturing center to support the production department. Join ourInfant Careteam to make an impact by operating manual and semi-automated pre-wired electrode machine to produce disposable electrodes while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.

Job Summary

The Associate I, Assembly plays a key role in the assembly process of products including the verification of components and compliance with quantity and quality standards. The Associate I, Assembly conducts quality inspections on the assembly line in accordance with quality specifications, reports defects and investigates the route cause. This job operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes. The Associate I, Assembly tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.

Schedule:

  • Currently this is a day Shift from 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • The role may progress to an evening shift as well from 3:00pm - 11:00pm on alternate weeks

Your Contributions to the Organization:

Duties and requirements of the job include, but are not limited to:

  • Accountability for Product Quality and Safety Compliance
  • Ability to work in a team/cellular environment assembling various Infant Care Products
  • Ability to analyze and document various functions in the process
  • Set up and operation of packaging equipment required.
  • Ability to follow good documentation practices.
  • Understanding of GMP and 5S methodology.
  • Perform line clearance procedures and set-up to support efficient and timely change-overs
  • Participate in Non-Conformance investigation and resolution where applicable
  • Knowledge of the Infant Care Department would be a definite asset

  • Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
  • Works on basic and routine assignments
  • Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods
  • Adheres to all quality guidelines
  • Works under close supervision
  • All work is reviewed for accuracy
  • Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding

Education / Training and/or Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination and dexterity
  • Ability to sustain repetitive duties
  • Ability to sustain both sitting and/or standing positions

Pay range: $ 19.00 per hour (Plus 0.84$ shift differential)

Bonus eligible: Yes. Bonus awards are not guaranteed and are determined based on individual performance, company performance, and other business factors, in accordance with the company’s bonus plan.
