Job Description As an Assistant Boutique Manager , you will assist the manager in leading the team to create the best guest experience possible. You will have the opportunity to build lasting connections with both the team and our visiting guests. Your daily role will be to assist keeping the team cohesive and efficient through the busy season.
DAILY LIFE Assisting the boutique manager with daily opening, tastings, cash, stocking and cleanup. Helping the team meet sales targets. Engaging with guests in a friendly manner ensuring a positive experience. Assisting with office work such as scheduling, team morale activities, and supervising shifts when manager is not present.
Job Requirements
- Supervising up to 20 staff members
- Smart Serve certificate.
- English/French bilingual an asset.
- Must possess a passion for people, wine, food, and the hospitality industry.
- WSET or ISG considered an asset but not mandatory.
- Providing excellent customer service
- Cleaning, organizing, stocking
- Ability to carry 40lbs and stand for long periods
- Using a Point of Sale system
- Opening/Closing the store
- Assisting in planning/implementing events
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Commitment to a healthy and safe environment for team members and guests.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a management/ supervisor position, be team oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has experience in customer service industry, positive and energetic.
