Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and quality within the organization. This role involves identifying areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements, and monitoring project progress to drive sustainable change and achieve measurable results.

Project Management: Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and objectives.

Process Analysis: Analyze existing workflows, systems, and processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Performance Metrics: Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance and track progress towards improvement goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including department heads, managers, and subject matter experts, to gain insights, gather requirements, and drive consensus on improvement initiatives.

Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption and integration of process improvements across the organization.

Continuous Improvement Methodologies: Utilize Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement efforts, applying appropriate tools and techniques to problem-solving and process optimization.

Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employees' understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, making data-driven decisions to optimize processes and drive operational excellence.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate project updates, progress, and results to stakeholders and senior management.

Best Practices Sharing: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to continuous improvement, incorporating relevant knowledge into project strategies.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in project management or in a related field

A university or college degree, an asset
-
Have or working toward PMP certification, an asset
-
Aviation experience, an asset
-
Adaptability to listen, analyze, and convey new solutions to drive project performance and client satisfaction results
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
-
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project)
-
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
-
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
-
International travel may be required

Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Safety, Teamwork, Focus, Innovation and Integrity

Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR:
Position requires Level 2 Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
