Our expectations
Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, the Inventory Coordinator is a detail-oriented problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment. You'll be the key to our inventory's accuracy by maintaining accurate records, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and optimizing our warehouse layout. This role also involves providing essential support to all warehouse teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations at all levels.
Your role

Perform cycle counts process and comprehensive full inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
-
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, conducting root cause analysis to prevent future problems.
-
Maintain efficient daily processes to ensure accuracy of inventory.
-
Update daily and weekly reports to track count progress and inventory accuracy.
-
Manage all slotting activities, including pre-slotting, re-slotting, and location audits, to maximize our warehouse space.
-
Oversee and execute all liquidation tasks, including the disposition of non-performing and discontinued SKUs.
-
Manage and investigate vendor compliance issues, taking corrective action for various issues, including invalid purchase orders (POs) and incorrect SKUs, and incorrect UPC.
-
Coordinate with the operations team to resolve problem pallets and execute slotting movements, ensuring a seamless workflow.
-
Analyze inventory data and prepare detailed discrepancy reports for leadership.
-
Support key processes such as claims investigations, cancel pick investigations, and pack changes.
-
Maintain execution trackers for various projects and inter-banner transfers, ensuring all tasks are on schedule.

Collaborate closely with team members and management to maintain our high operational standards.

Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
Required qualifications
-
3 to 5 years of proven experience in inventory management within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center.
-
Certificate in administration or supply chain management.
-
Advanced computer skills, particularly with Excel. Experience with Access is a strong asset.
-
Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is required, experience with Blue Yonder WMS is a strong asset.

Ability to multitask and manage change effectively.

Proven track record of complying with safety requirements, and the ability to build a safety culture among peers.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.
-
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
-
Proactive approach to analyzing results, identifying opportunities for improvement, and resolving complex issues.
-
Excellent communication, listening, and time management skills.
-
Team player, able to work constructively and cooperatively with team members and other departments.
