This is a role for someone who loves being out in the community, building connections and turning belief into action . You’ll lead the recruitment and assessment of new Shared Lives carers, raise the local profile of Shared Lives, and work closely with Doncaster and York City Councils and partner organisations to create sustainable growth. You’ll be commercially aware, opportunity-focused and confident selling the value of Shared Lives — always in a values-led, person-centred way.
You’ll Thrive In This Role If You
- Are passionate about Shared Lives and relationship-based support
- Are confident influencing, presenting and building trust
- Bring commercial awareness and a growth mindset
- Have experience in recruitment, assessment or service development within health or social care
- Are organised, values-driven and genuinely great with people
Why join Avalon?
- A warm, ambitious charity with strong values
- Real opportunity to shape and grow a key local service
- Supportive leadership and space to develop your career
- Work that has visible, meaningful impact on people’s lives
