About the role
Ribeye is an open-air butcher shop serving primarily Alberta raised meats and gourmet-to-go-meals. As an owner-operated business we invest our time and energy into our shops, engage with our team members, and love to connect with our customers. We are looking to hire and train enthusiastic and knowledgeable team members to curate the highest quality products and engage with our customers.
As a Butcher you will be responsible for many different aspects of what makes Ribeye an exceptional butcher shop.
Responsibilities
Butcher part and sometimes whole animal into thoughtfully merchandised cuts and display attractively Sausage making and grinding meats Marinate, display, and rotate stock in an efficient manner Fulfill orders by phone, online or in person Ensure all customers are receiving that ‘wow’ experience Work to the Ribeye Shop Core Values
What do you need?
A passion for the craft of butchery, naturally raised meats, and animal welfare
Strong ability to communicate effectively Ambition and drive to create the best experience for your team and customers A drive to find solutions rather than point out problems Availability for shifts between 10:00 AM to 7:00PM.

About Ribeye Butcher Shop
Ribeye Butcher Shop is a premium butcher shop bringing the craftsmanship of traditional butchery together with modern convenience. With seven locations across Alberta—including Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Airdrie, and Calgary—we serve customers who care about quality, sourcing, and great food.
Our 7 shops feature hand-cut steaks, dry-aged beef, Canadian and Japanese Wagyu, locally sourced meats, game, prepared foods, and a curated selection of pantry staples. Working with an exclusive network of farm partners, we source exceptional products from Alberta, across Canada, and around the world.
At Ribeye, we believe a butcher shop should do more than sell meat—it should inspire people to cook. Our team of knowledgeable butchers helps customers explore new cuts, learn techniques, and bring restaurant-quality meals to their own kitchens.
