We are currently seeking a Operations Support Specialist, who will actively support Prospera’s member facing lines of business by acting as an escalation point for all operational inquiries and requests for support ranging in complexity from basic transactions to complex situations such as estates, POA, Trusts, and other specialized accounts. This role provides sound advice to member facing employees and management with regards to specialized accounts and will participate in the review of POA, Estate, and Trust agreements, escalating to internal or external legal counsel as required.

What you’ll do:

  • Advise member facing employees and management on matters relating to policy, business rules, processes and procedures including specialized accounts such as estates, POA, and Trusts.
  • Act as escalation point for member facing employees and leaders for PPC content updates and clarifications.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of processes including transaction functions, lending functions, deposit/investment functions, sales processes, ATM balancing, settlement, online banking, specialized accounts etc.
  • Research, study and analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, pain points, emerging issues, and opportunities to improve our operations.
  • Design policies, processes, and practices that support our strategic imperatives, promote growth, augment member experience, and create thriving teams.
  • Oversee implementation of audits, controls, and reporting to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Work with operations planning analyst to ensure process update publications are up to date and any changes are communicated to end users.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements that minimize member and employee effort.
    Collaborate with other stakeholders across the organization (ie Operational Risk, Centralized Services, BTS etc.) and monitor Central 1 for required changes to processes and forms.
    Establish baseline and target metrics for key processes to drive improvements.
  • Plan and coordinate project impacts in conjunction with other organizational change to ensure flawless execution and sustainment.
  • Communicate design requirements for operational tools and resources, identify updates that are required to knowledge base, and ensure all requirements are met in advance of change implementation.

What you bring:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in member facing role and/or credit union back office on Wealthview Banking.
  • Experience with CRM/LOS.
  • Familiar with all aspects of branch operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of credit union philosophies, values, and strategy.
  • Demonstrated peer leadership, coaching and motivational skills.
  • Ability to exercise diplomacy, discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential matters or sensitive situations.
  • Superior interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills to interpret policies.
  • Understanding of banking operations, processes, procedures and policies
  • Comfortable with new applications and learning new software.

What We Offer:

  • Prospera offers a total compensation package of base salary plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed annually. Our expected starting salary for this role is $62,000 to $77,500 based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
