Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths. As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc. Schedule: Part-time - Weekends only Shift timing: Overnights (20:00 - 08:00) Applicants must be available to work the above mentioned schedule.What's in it for you?
Hourly wage of $18.35 We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Part-time opportunity with opportunity to pick up additional shifts in the area Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Security Guard in Barrie
Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
Qualifications for Security Guard in Barrie
Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid security license First aid certification required Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
