The Role

We are looking for a Product Associate to join Medcan on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a new or recent graduate interested in kickstarting their career with a leader in Canadian healthcare.

The Product Associate will support Medcan’s innovation and product evolution for the LiveWell Assessments portfolio, contributing to projects focused on improving client health outcomes and supporting business objectives. You will help represent the voice of the client, support the execution of the product roadmap, and work cross functionally to identify, develop, and enhance clinical products and programs. This role offers hands-on exposure to product management in a healthcare environment and close collaboration with senior and cross-functional stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the execution of the product roadmap by assisting with research, analysis, and coordination to enhance existing products and inform future improvements.

  • Contribute to documenting product processes, insights, and learnings by working with stakeholders across clinical, operations, and commercial teams.

  • Help establish and maintain mechanisms to collect, track, and synthesize client, user, and internal feedback to support product enhancements.

  • Assist with cross-functional product discussions by preparing materials, summaries, and insights related to product performance and improvement opportunities.

  • Analyze basic product and client metrics to understand user behaviour, engagement, and product performance, and support data informed recommendations.

  • Support the successful delivery of assigned product initiatives and projects, including tracking progress, maintaining documentation, and meeting timelines.

  • Provide general support to the product team as needed, gaining exposure to the end-to-to-end product lifecycle.

What You’ll Need

  • A completed post-secondary degree; Health Sciences, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management/Administration preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Co-Pilot).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative information into clear insights.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with an eagerness to learn and contribute.

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

You will work in a hybrid model with 2–3 days in the office per week, with full-time hours Monday to Friday.

Our downtown Toronto office is conveniently located at 150 York Street, near St. Andrew Station or a 10-minute walk from Union Station.
