The Team Our Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice is comprised of over 600 sector experts and specialized consultants across the Globe. We combine strategic and operational expertise with a deep technical knowledge to support developers, sponsors, lenders, and projects leader to select, structure, improve and execute Capital Projects in a more efficient and sustainable way.
The Management of Change (MOC) Coordinator supports the structured identification, evaluation, approval, and implementation of changes on an active EPC project in a field-based environment. This role plays a critical function at the intersection of change management, claims mitigation, and project controls by ensuring that scope, cost, schedule, risk, and contractual impacts of proposed changes are formally assessed, documented, and controlled. The MOC Coordinator works closely with project controls, commercial, engineering, and construction teams to maintain alignment between approved changes, baseline controls, and downstream claims or recovery strategies.
While this role is tied administratively to our Oakville, ON office, the position itself will be based on-site at the project location in the southwestern area of the Athabasca Basin, in Northern Saskatchewan on a rotating basis.
How You Will Contribute
- Coordinate and administer the project Management of Change (MOC) process for field- and engineering-driven changes.
- Serve as the primary focal point for initiating, logging, tracking, and closing MOC requests across all disciplines.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary reviews to evaluate technical, safety, environmental, schedule, cost, risk, and contractual impacts of proposed changes.
- Interface closely with project controls to support cost estimates, schedule impacts, contingency usage, and baseline adjustments associated with approved changes.
- Coordinate with commercial and contracts teams to ensure potential claims, variations, and contractual entitlements are identified, documented, and preserved.
- Ensure MOC documentation supports downstream change orders, claims substantiation, and audit requirements.
- Track MOC status, approvals, conditions, and implementation actions through to closeout, ensuring alignment with cost and schedule control systems.
- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure approved changes are incorporated into drawings, specifications, schedules, procedures, and work plans.
- Support field implementation of approved changes, including communication to affected work groups, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Maintain MOC registers, logs, and reporting dashboards highlighting trends, aging changes, risk exposure, and potential claims.
- Support internal and client audits, readiness reviews, and compliance checks related to change management and project controls.
- Promote disciplined change management practices to minimize scope creep, cost overruns, schedule impacts, and claims exposure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline; equivalent field experience will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Management of Change, change management, project controls, or claims coordination on large-scale EPC projects.
- Strong understanding of EPC project execution, construction sequencing, and field operations.
- Familiarity with formal MOC systems, change control workflows, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time at a project site in a field or construction environment.

The salary range is $104,100 - $126,000 CAD annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
