About the role
Job Description We have four regular part-time, casual positions in the dietary and kitchen food production preparation area. The specific duties and job descriptions will be discussed during the interview process.
The Job Positions Offer Different Shift Times, Including
- 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM
- 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Reporting to the Food Service Manager. This position will perform duties as per the Dietary Aide Profile, and as a fill-in will focus mainly on duties around: Preparing food including special diets.
- Good organizing, planning, prioritizing, time management and multi-tasking skills
Delivery of food and supplies to households Also will have a role in doing daily dishes and Kitchen cleaning.
Able to work weekends.
Excellent attendance required
Qualifications
- Food Service/cooking experience an asset
- Food Safety Course.
- Ability to Stand for long periods of time.
- Be an active listener who projects a friendly, problem-solving approach and demeanor.
- Superb organizing, planning, prioritizing, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Proven experience in taking personal responsibility for seeking information from various sources enables others’ learning through sharing experiences, coaching and mentoring.
- Works independently as well as collaboratively within the team
- Excellent attendance required
