Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities for the entire organization
- Obtain quotations as required
- Manage purchase orders
- Handle urgent purchases
- Research and contact potential suppliers
- Evaluate supplier quotations
- Follow up on orders with suppliers
- Handle non-conformities
- Process invoice discrepancies
- Administer supplier management
- Perform any other related tasks
Qualifications
To succeed as a Buyer, you must have:
- A college diploma (DEC or AEC) in Supply Chain Management
- Less than 3 years of experience in supply chain management or other relevant experience
- Proficiency in spoken and written French and English
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to understand needs
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of mechanics or experience in an industrial environment
