How you’ll make an impact

As a Senior Developer (SAP Basis DevOps Engineer), you’ll play a key role in modernizing and operating FCC’s enterprise SAP delivery platform. This is a senior, hands‑on platform role focused on ownership and You’ll focus on improving platform operations while also helping to modernize, automate and evolve SDLC integration requirements in a mature enterprise environment.

You’ll bridge traditional SAP Basis administration with modern DevOps and platform engineering practices, enabling secure, compliant, and repeatable delivery across SAP landscapes. The role sits at the intersection of SAP, cloud platforms, and enterprise DevOps standards, supporting SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP while preserving SAP Clean Core principles.

As part of an agile team, you’ll collaborate with SAP developers, DevOps teams, security experts, and architects to boost automation, improve oversight, and support developers. You’ll be guided by leaders who value clear communication and context, giving you the support you need to take charge, make decisions and achieve success.

What you’ll do

  • Own and improve FCC SAP delivery platform, balancing operational stability with modernization and automation

Enable CI/CD concepts and transport automation across SAP landscapes (DEV QA

  • PROD)

  • Integrate SAP delivery into enterprise CI/CD and SDLC tooling, enabling end‑to‑end traceability from work items to code, configuration, transports, and deployments

  • Establish and enforce platform standards, templates, and automation to reduce manual effort and deployment risk

  • Lead the technical enablement and execution of the SAP Cloud ALM transition

  • Support modern CI/CD governance for SAP landscapes, including source‑controlled SAP and non‑SAP delivery artifacts

  • Act as a technical bridge between SAP teams and enterprise platform standards, working across SAP and non‑SAP technologies

What you’ll bring to the team

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Significant experience operating and supporting enterprise SAP landscapes

  • Strong understanding of SAP transport management, lifecycle governance, and change control

  • Proven experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)

  • Demonstrated experience integrating SAP with enterprise SDLC and CI/CD tooling

  • SAP S/4HANA operating in cloud‑hosted or managed environments (e.g., RISE / hyperscaler‑hosted private cloud)

  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including understanding of integration, security, and transport context

  • SAP Cloud ALM and modern SAP lifecycle management concepts

  • Microsoft Entra ID & CIS (authentication and authorization context)

  • Familiarity with container concepts and modern automation patterns (runners/agents, secrets, artifacts, environment variables)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience applying CI/CD using enterprise source control and pipeline tooling

  • Working familiarity with application or configuration code sufficient to collaborate effectively with SAP developers

  • Experience integrating SAP delivery processes with enterprise DevOps platforms

  • Familiarity with SAP‑native automation or lifecycle tools (e.g., SAP LaMa, SAP CI/CD, Jenkins (Piper), etc.)

  • Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation‑first platform practices

  • Monitoring, observability, and DevSecOps concepts across SAP and non‑SAP platforms
