About The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Partner to join their Corporate Commercial and Regulatory (Healthcare) practice in downtown Toronto. This opportunity is ideal for a senior lawyer looking to play a leadership role in a growing platform, working with sophisticated clients in the health sector while helping shape and expand a dynamic national practice. You will collaborate with leading professionals on complex matters while mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to strategic client development initiatives.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Advise health sector clients on corporate, commercial, and governance matters
- Lead complex transactions, structuring initiatives, integrations, and strategic alliances
- Support commercial contracting, joint ventures, and partnership arrangements within the health sector
- Provide regulatory guidance related to evolving healthcare laws and compliance frameworks
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams across offices and practice groups
- Contribute to practice development, client relationship growth, and mentorship of junior lawyers
- Play a leadership role in expanding the firm’s presence within the health sector
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience practicing corporate and commercial law
- Demonstrated experience advising health sector clients or other regulated industry participants
- Strong client management and business development capabilities
- Sound professional judgment and strategic advisory skills
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented approach
- Demonstrated leadership and commitment to mentoring junior lawyers
- Interest in continued practice and platform growth
