Help build our next generation IoT Platform for processing emission detections from our infrared imaging cameras and point sensors.
The ideal candidate is a platform designer and developer with significant experience implementing SaaS applications in Azure or AWS. They must be highly proficient developing Nodejs microservices and React applications with minimal supervision. Previous use of kubernetes clusters to orchestrate workloads within message-based architectures is a must.
This role is well suited for an experienced full-stack engineer wanting to take the next step in their career with a senior role in s/w architecture, design and development.

Must Have Qualifications
- Experience coding microservices using nodejs
- Experience with application design using event modelling, CQRS and Domain Driven Design
- Experience Implementing message broker systems using Kafka
Preferred Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 8-10 years developing SaaS, PaaS or IoT solutions in Azure or AWS
- Highly proficient in cloud native development using nodejs, Fastify, Reactjs
- Proficient application of design patterns; Event Sourcing, CQRS and Domain-Driven Design
- Experience implementing message-based systems using Kafka, Event Hub or RabbitMQ
- Experience with deployment and scaling of stable workloads on Kubernetes clusters running microservices
- Experience building high levels of software quality test automation using Cucumber/Gerkin
- Designing robust storage solutions using MongoDB or CosmosDB
- Experience deploying code and infrastructure using GitOps, Helm, Argo and Terraform
General Responsibilities
- Deliver our connected IoT platform through iterative design and development
- Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Business Owners and other Developers to deliver the best user experiences and level-of-service to customers
- Code and ship valuable software to our customers early and often
- Code features and tests as a single unit-of-work so quality is maintained between iterations
- Perform code reviews and help improve quality standards within the team
- Support the cloud infrastructure through IaC and CICD automated service deployments
- Scaling up a novel 2nd generation IoT product from a few clients to global reach

It enables upstream and midstream oil and gas companies to improve their operations and meet ESG and methane intensity goals.
