Over the last 40 years, Gastops has built a robust business which is recognized worldwide for its innovative contributions to equipment health management in the aviation, energy, marine, industrial and transportation industries. Gastops’ products and services add value throughout the life cycle of complex critical equipment from the design stage through to in-service operations and support. We design, manufacture and support advanced equipment sensing and analysis products, including on-line oil debris sensors, torque measurement sensors, turbine blade health sensors, and at-line oil analysis systems.

The Program Quality Manager (PQM) is responsible for ensuring that all quality, configuration management, and regulatory compliance requirements are met across aerospace and industrial programs. This includes compliance with FAA/TCCA/EASA standards, AS9100, and customer-specific requirements. The PQM acts as the primary quality interface between the company and its customers, leading quality planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.

This role supports programs involving mission-critical equipment in both aerospace and industrial sectors, including rotating machinery, gas turbines, and advanced condition monitoring systems.

This is a technical leadership role with no direct people management responsibilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the quality lead for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Develop and implement program-specific quality plans, including inspection and test strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA/TCCA/EASA, AS9100, and applicable RTCA standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design reviews, production readiness, and change control processes.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for program-related issues.
  • Monitor and report program quality metrics (e.g., escapes, audit findings, customer satisfaction).
  • Support internal and external audits, including customer, regulatory, and third-party assessments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization for quality-related matters.
  • Support and oversee configuration management activities, including:
    • Ensuring proper documentation control and traceability of product configurations.
    • Managing engineering change orders (ECOs) and configuration baselines.
    • Coordinating with engineering and manufacturing to maintain configuration integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Ensuring compliance with configuration management standards and customer requirements.

Please note that this job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive statement of every duty and responsibility that will ever be required of an employee in the job.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in aerospace and/or industrial quality management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, FAA/TCCA/EASA regulations, and quality systems applicable to industrial sectors.
  • Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and SPC.
  • Familiarity with configuration management principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address quality challenges effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications such as ASQ CQE, PMP, or Six Sigma are a plus.

What You Should Bring:

  • High motivation with results-oriented focus
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (NATO Level Clearance)

Gastops designs, manufactures and supports advanced equipment health sensing and analysis products, including on-line oil debris sensors, torque measurement sensors, turbine blade health sensors, and at-line wear debris analyzers. Additionally, we offer a wide range of specialized technical and engineering services to assist in the development of equipment control and monitoring systems, and maintenance of mission-critical assets.

We have applied our equipment condition analysis engineering capabilities to develop and execute fleet maintenance programs which transform maintenance from the traditional scheduled or reactive maintenance, to a more proactive condition based approach. This approach has also exposed us to the industry need to provide high performance, responsive, maintenance, repair and overhaul services for high value aviation components.

For 40 years, our solutions have been used in Defense, Aerospace, Energy and Marine applications to optimize the availability, productivity, maintenance, performance and safety of mission-critical assets. We offer peace of mind to our customers by supporting the equipment that helps their aircraft fly, ships sail, trains roll, generators generate, and turbines turn.
