FULL TIME HOURS
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
This purpose of this role is to maintain snowmaking facilities, deliver a top‑quality skiing product, and perform duties that uphold the safety, visibility, and overall condition of our ski hills to provide guests and staff with a safe, hazard‑free, and exceptional mountain experience.
Operates light and heavy utility vehicles including tractors, side‑by‑sides, snowmobiles, pickup trucks, and mini excavators to accomplish daily tasks. Performs maintenance on snowmaking and trail maintenance equipment. Installs and maintains snowmaking equipment and infrastructure. Adjusts snowmaking operations, gun settings and direction based on weather and responds to changes. Installs, positions and maintains protective post padding, signage, ribbons and fencing. Trims and removes fallen trees or other hazardous items from trails and waterways using chainsaws and other equipment.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
Over 18 with a valid Class “G” Drivers License in good standing required
Enjoys working outdoors and able to work in inclement weather conditions Physically fit, able to lift and carry heavy materials and to perform repetitive tasks involving bending, stretching, walking and kneeling. Must be able to operate a range of equipment from simple handheld tools to power tools Experience in utility vehicle operation an asset (internal training provided) Must participate in chainsaw safety training; this training is provided to successful candidates.
