Wage : $20/hr - $22/hr

We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our Human Resources team as a Development Coordinator / HR Assistant. The role provides administrative and operational support to the HR team with a focus on HRIS implementation, Learning & Development initiatives, and day-to-day HR processes. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to a positive employee experience.
Key Highlights:
HR Administration
- Maintain employee records and files (digital and hard copy) ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with recruitment support: posting jobs, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters.
- Track completion of mandatory training and probation reviews.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes (checklists, paperwork, orientation scheduling).
Accreditation
- First two months to focus on accreditation.
- Admin support overall.
HRIS Implementation
- Assist in data entry and validation for the new HRIS platform.
- Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Support testing, roll-out communications, and training for employees and managers.
Learning & Development
- Help coordinate internal training sessions and track attendance.
- Maintain training calendars and distribute reminders.
- Collect and compile feedback from participants for continuous improvement.
General Support
- Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, training compliance) as required.
- Provide excellent service to employees seeking HR assistance.
- Other duties as assigned to support HR and organizational initiatives.
Position Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–2 years of administrative experience (HR experience preferred).
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms or interest in HR technology implementation.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, Excel proficiency required).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time, 24 hours per week (flexible scheduling can be discussed).
- Presence on site required but hybrid work may be considered occasionally.
