As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Marketing & Growth Manager who will help build our brand, generate new business opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and strengthen our market presence across North America
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Marketing & Growth Manager is responsible for increasing company visibility, supporting business development activities, strengthening customer relationships, coordinating strategic initiatives, and helping remove operational bottlenecks that slow company growth.
This individual will work closely with leadership, engineering, and external partners to ensure marketing efforts translate into measurable business results.
The ideal candidate combines strong marketing ability with exceptional organizational skills, business judgment, and a willingness to take ownership of projects from concept through execution.
Location
This position is based in South Etobicoke, Ontario. While we may offer a flexible work environment to the right candidate, regular in-office presence is expected to support collaboration with our engineering and operations teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Leadership
- Develop and execute Dexotech's annual marketing strategy.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget.
- Measure return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives and adjust spending accordingly.
- Develop marketing campaigns for each service line, including Engineering, High Voltage Testing, Diagnostics, Metrology and Forensics.
- Translate complex engineering services into compelling client-focused messaging.
- Own and manage the corporate website and coordinate ongoing improvements.
- Oversee LinkedIn and digital marketing activities.
- Produce technical brochures, case studies, project profiles, videos, and customer success stories.
- Coordinate photography and documentation of major projects.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Manage relationships with graphic designers, web developers, photographers, and marketing agencies.
- Measure campaign performance and recommend improvements.
Business Development
- Maintain and optimize the CRM system.
- Coordinate proposal and qualification submissions.
- Track leads and business development opportunities.
- Support client follow-up and relationship management.
- Assist with market research and competitive analysis.
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns for key industries.
- Help organize client appreciation events and technical seminars.
Strategic Growth Initiatives
- Research and coordinate grant opportunities.
- Assist with SR&ED documentation.
- Support export development initiatives.
- Coordinate trade shows and industry conferences.
- Identify partnership opportunities with consultants, utilities, EPC contractors, and manufacturers.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend growth opportunities.
Communications
- Prepare newsletters and technical publications.
- Coordinate press releases and media announcements.
- Develop presentations for conferences and customer meetings.
- Manage internal communications and company announcements.
- Coordinate award submissions.
Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Improve CRM utilization.
- Develop marketing dashboards and KPIs.
- Document marketing processes.
- Improve proposal templates.
- Recommend tools and technologies that improve efficiency.
- Support implementation of new business systems where appropriate.
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of North American experience in B2B marketing, business development, communications, or growth marketing. Strong written communication skills. Exceptional organizational ability. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent presentation skills. Experience coordinating external vendors. Advanced Microsoft 365 skills. Experience with CRM platforms. Self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
Preferred
Experience within engineering, utilities, consulting, construction, renewable energy, or technical services. Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Experience managing websites. Basic understanding of SEO. Graphic design experience (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite). Photography or video coordination experience. Experience in public speaking in conferences and trade shows.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve marketing productivity, content development, research, and business processes.
