PURPOSE
The Night Audit Supervisor is part of the Front Office leadership team and oversees all night operations of the Front Office and Resort Property in the absence of the Night Manager. Requires quick and innovative skills as a problem solver to resolve a broad range of challenges presented in the role of Supervisor in the absence of higher authority. Responsible for supervising 1 to 2 employees and training night staff on Night Audit procedures and policies. Completes nightly financial closure, responds to emergency and conflict situations including fire alarms, first aid, guest concerns and security issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Front line service experience in a Resort property an asset
- Service and Security oriented, with focus on wellbeing of guests and staff
- Intermediate level of competency in all Microsoft Office components preferred
- Must have exceptional guest service standards and meticulous grooming
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening, writing) and ability to use a radio/communication device
- Ability to train and strong commitment to guest service and satisfaction
- Ability to resolve guest concerns to the benefit of the guest and the property using effective problem resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a multifunctional work environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion to service excellence with exceptional energy, flexibility and professionalism
- Ability to create courteous, friendly, professional work environment
- Excellent Knowledge of computers an asset: ON-Q, Word, Excel, Outlook, Micros
- Performs well in high pressure environment able to deal with potentially stressful situations
