We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Logistics Department. This role plays a critical part in our daily shipping operations and directly contributes to achieving our goal of a 100% delivery rating.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, internal scheduling, and shipping departments, building and maintaining positive working relationships. (Primary Customers Ford, Toyota, plus others)
- Daily interfacing with our EDI System (PLEX)
- Required to complete; BOL’s, ASN’s, Customer scorecards (Delivery Ratings)
- Assure consistent, timely and accurate entry of customer’s orders and release changes through to shipment of finished goods
- Liaise with customers regarding discrepancies in orders/releases, communicate scheduled deliveries, prepare and dispute customer point deductions following customer’s required format
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, shipping schedules, and service issues.
- Maintain Demand Planning forecasts for Purchasing and Scheduling through both EDI release management and manual entry
- Manage customer packaging requirements
- Ensure timely completion of NAFTA/USMCA requests
- Manage FORD Sequencing requirements/orders
- Complying with corporate policies and procedures, Health and Safety rules, IATF requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Experience in logistics, customer service, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
